Ten players were today named as MLS All-Stars, completing the 32-player squad selected for this year.
These players were selected through voting by MLS players. Known as the "inactive roster," a minimum of 32 players are named annually per the league's collective bargaining agreement.
Named as MLS All-Stars for 2013: Osvaldo Alonso (Seattle Sounders FC), Tally Hall (Houston Dynamo), George John (FC Dallas), Juninho (LA Galaxy), Justin Mapp (Montreal Impact), Javier Morales (Real Salt Lake), Jamison Olave (New York Red Bulls), Donovan Ricketts (Portland Timbers), Diego Valeri (Portland Timbers), Rodney Wallace (Portland Timbers).
In addition to the 20-man gameday roster, two players originally announced to the All-Star team were replaced due to injury and are on the inactive roster: Tim Cahill (New York Red Bulls) and Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy).
