The Kansas City Flying Disc Golf Club has scheduled a Frisbee golf tournament, the Ice Bowl, on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Rosedale Park, 40th and Mission Road, in Kansas City, Kan.
The event is a benefit for the Bishop Sullivan Center and Harvesters. It begins at 7:45 a.m. An $8 donation to the center as well as two Frisbees and a chili lunch is included in the $16 entry fee.
Additional donations of cash and new items that may be used as prizes are encouraged.
According to organizers, the Ice Bowl will never be canceled because of bad weather. Call 816-471-3472 for more information.
