Sumner Academy Sabres (3-1) 50 @ Rosedale Wildcats (2-3) 10
The Sabres improved their record to 3-1 by winning on the road yesterday. Tomorrow, Sumner will play host to the Coronado Colts who are the only remaining undefeated KCKL team.
Eisenhower Eagles (1-3) 29 @ Coronado Colts (4-0) 60
The Eagles traveled east down Parallel Parkway yesterday to play Coronado. The Colts jumped out to an early 15-5 lead after 1 and pulled away behind an 18-2 third quarter. Eisenhower’s Jamon Tripplett-Marshall scored a team high, 11 points. Chris Hinson scored 20 for the 4-0 Colts, while Derek Sykes led all scorers with 22. “Though we scored 60, it was the defense that stepped up and took over the game,” stated Coronado head coach Sam Simmons.
Next up the Eagles will travel to Argentine to play the Mustangs while the Colts travel to Sumner Academy to play the Sabres.

Central Bear Cubs (0-5) 28 @ Arrowhead Apaches (3-1) 52
A fast Bear Cub start had the Apaches down by six midway through the 1st quarter. But a 12-3 run in the 2nd quarter by Arrowhead helped them gain a 26-15 advantage at halftime. Central’s Hayes gave all he had, pouring in a team-high 11 points, all scored in the second half. The Apaches one-two punch of Eli Johnson, who scored 14, and Damon Jackson, who had a game and career high 23 points, helped seal the victory for Arrowhead.
