Even colder than some recent weather, this morning's temperatures were 11 degrees at 8 a.m. with a wind chill of minus 4 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
After the dangerous cold wind chill values this morning, temperatures should rise to 17 degrees by noon and 20 degrees by 3 p.m., according to the forecast.
Tuesday's temperatures will be a little warmer, predicted to be 16 degrees at 9 a.m. and 31 degrees by 3 p.m. The high might reach 32 degrees on Tuesday afternoon.
On Thursday, the high will be 34.
While there is a chance of light snow in some parts of the region tonight, snow is not in the forecast for Wyandotte County tonight.
On Friday, there is a chance of freezing rain, and on Friday evening, a 40 percent chance of snow and freezing rain, according to the weather service.
