“A Woman’s Guide to Money Matters” will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Instructed by Kevin Makalous, a certified financial planner, the class will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Center adjacent to the Campus Lake at 7250 State Ave.

The class is designed for women of all ages to learn how to take control of their financial life by examining their values and setting specific, realistic and measurable goals. In addition, it will cover key strategies for three common financial goals – Preparing for retirement; Living in Retirement; and Paying for Education.

The cost of the class is $15 and includes a workbook.
