Snow melting weather
Freezing fog possible tonight
Today's temperatures will reach a high of 41 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
At 8 a.m., temperatures were 27 degrees, with a wind chill of 21.
Winds today will be 6 to 14 mph south-southwest, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tonight, there will be areas of freezing fog after 1 a.m., with a low around 23.
The weather service said the dense fog will cause low visibility and light icing tonight. A few slippery spots may develop, and melting snow could refreeze at night as temperatures fall back below freezing, leading to patches of black ice on area roads.
On Friday, temperatures may reach 43, and Saturday, 48.
A strong cold front will arrive late on Saturday.
Light snow or patchy freezing drizzle may be possible on Sunday, when the high will be 22. Any accumulation of ice will be very light.
