Old computers, printers and monitors can be recycled at an electronics recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Heartland Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 1270 Merriam Lane, Kansas City, Kan.
The event is free and open to Kansas City metropolitan area residents. It is not open to businesses, governments or institutions.
A maximum of 10 items per car will be accepted. The items to be accepted include computer, printers, monitors, scanners, peripherals, old television sets and cell phones, DVD players, fax machines, personal copiers, stereos, radios, tape players, turntables, personal digital assistants, Game Boys, videocassette recorders and cameras.
