A Poetry Connects charitable event will be held for the Frank Williams Outreach Center.
The grand prize will be $100.
Auditions will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and from noon to 3 p.m.. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the S.I.D.E. Inc., 630 B Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
After auditions are complete, the poetry event will take place on March 9.
Those auditioning must bring donations of canned goods or gently used clothing to the audition Profanity will not be allowed.
