Yard House Restaurant presented Cross-Lines with a gift in the amount of $8,000. The gift represents proceeds from its “Round It Up America” program.
“Connecting with our community is important. Partnering with our charitable organizations is our way of connecting with them and the important work they do,” said Steve Sloan, restaurant manager.
Roberta Lindbeck, executive director for Cross-Lines said, “This significant gift comes just at the right time to help us continue to provide programs and services to those in need right here in our community. We commend Yard House Restaurant for their commitment to the community.”
Cross-Lines is a not-for-profit agency that was built on a simple idea that poverty borne problems can best be solved by people within the community where they are found. In 1963, a group of concerned citizens and ministers joined together to improve the living conditions of the working poor. Their programs continue to improve the lives of at risk families, seniors and singles.
Cross-Lines celebrates its golden jubilee this year.
