The land of green, shamrocks, leprechauns, good luck and laughter came to Delaware Highlands Assisted Living in Kansas City, Kan., this St. Patrick’s Day. The Driscoll School of Irish Dance performed for the residents on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17.
The dancers have won acclaim nationwide with their dancing.
Around the world St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated with the Irish traditions of song and dance and at Delaware Highlands a St. Patrick’s Day event was held that was filled with tradition and enchantment. Bobbie Scott said, “We will all be Irish for the day. On this Saint Patrick’s Day we will transform winter dreams into summer’s magic. Ultimately for Delaware Highlands Saint Patrick’s Day will be one filled with memories that touches the spirit, warms the heart and brings happiness."
