Music from the 1950s and 1960s will be featured from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Grinter Visitors Center (Grinter barn), 78th and K-32.
The Stranger Creek Band will perform.
Those attending are invited to dress in their high school sweaters, bobby socks and saddle oxfords, poodle skirts, tea shirts with candy cigarettes rolled in the sleeve, duck tail hair style or other fashions of the era. 1950s and 1960s dress is optional.
Admission is $5. A snack bar will be available that will offer a Nu-way style sandwich, chips, root beer floats. For more information, call 913-220-8266.
