Girls Night In

Mix and mingle with friends as Kansas City’s top chefs prepare farm-to-table, heart-healthy tastings in fabulous gourmet kitchens on Feb. 19.

The 8th Annual Girls’ Night In: A Culinary Celebration for the Heart, designed to increase awareness about women’s heart disease, will be at  Portfolio Kitchen and Home, 215 Pershing Road, Kansas City, Mo. A patrons party, featuring best-selling cookbook author Anne Byrn, will begin at 5:30 p.m. The main event will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Girls' Night In also is a fundraiser for programs of The University of Kansas Hospital's Adelaide C. Ward Women’s Heart Health Center, which includes A Change of Heart. Featured chefs will be Matt Arnold, Webster House; Michael Foust, The Farmhouse; Nina Gann, The Westside Local; and Jonathan Justus, Justus Drugstore.
