Several Easter egg hunts are scheduled in Kansas City, Kan.
Here are several Easter egg hunts or children’s parties that have been sent in or are listed in area church activities and other listings:
The teen annual Easter Eggstravaganza is set for 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the KCKPL South Library, Meeting Room B, 3104 Strong Ave., Kansas City, Kan. Teens are invited to color Easter eggs, then join in an Easter egg hunt.
Judson Baptist Church, 8300 State Ave., plans a children’s Easter party from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 30. Children from age 2 to fifth grade may attend.
Legends Outlets, at I-70 and I-435 in Kansas City, Kan., plans an Easter Family Fun Day from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30. The free event includes a radio disc jockey, a petting zoo, balloon artist, bounce houses, games, giveaways, prizes, and an appearance by the Easter bunny. Children may bring their Easter baskets to collect goodies. Parents may bring cameras to take photos of children with the Easter bunny. In case of inclement weather some activities will be relocated to covered areas near the Legends 14 Theatre.
On March 30, Living Water United Methodist Church, 3001 N. 115th St., will hold a community Easter egg hunt and indoor carnival complete with inflatables, pictures with the Easter bunny, cookie decorating, fire truck, hot dog lunch, and carnival games. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
A palm parade and Easter egg hunt will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St.
White Church Christian Church, 2200 N. 85th, plans an Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 30, for children.
Because of snow the Wyandotte United Methodist Church's Easter egg hunt is rescheduled to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30.
