The Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast will meet this Saturday, Oct. 19, at Johnny Carino's Italian Restaurant, 1706 Village West Parkway, in the Village West area of Kansas City, Kan.
The speaker will be Paul Davis, Democratic candidate for Kansas governor. State Rep. Davis is also the Democratic leader of the Kansas House of Representatives.
The buffet is available at 8:15 a.m. and the forum begins at 9:15.
The cost for the breakfast buffet, which includes tax, service and tip, is $10; $7 for students and those on limited income. All Democrats are invited to attend.

Third Congressional District Democrats are sponsoring "Campaign College: One Year Out-We're All In" from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Turner High School, 2211 S. 55th St., Kansas City, Kan. Candidates, campaign volunteers and interested Democrats are invited to attend, with workshops on basic campaigning skills, fundraising, volunteer coordination and addressing the big issues with help from the people who know them the best.
