Get ready for some family fun. Kansas City Kansas Community College is once again playing host to the annual Children’s Christmas Circus Programs.
The programs are at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, and Friday, Dec. 6, in the KCKCC Performing Arts Center, 7250 State Ave. Admission is free and open to the community.
Bill Yeazel, director of the Performing Arts Center, said KCKCC has been the host of the program for more than five years. Performances include clown acts and acrobats, all with a holiday theme. In addition, Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance during the Friday performance.
The Thursday show is sponsored by the National Federation for the Blind and Friday’s show is sponsored by the Abdallah Shrine. Both organizations have many programs which benefit children.
“This is a great program for children and families,” Yeazel said. “It’s free to the community and something we have been doing for many years.”
