A 36-year-old Kansas City, Mo., woman was ejected from her vehicle after it rolled in an accident on eastbound I-70 near 3rd Street in Kansas City, Kan.
The 2000 Ford Explorer came to rest on top of the outside bridge wall on I-70, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper's crash log.
The accident happened about 10:51 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3. A heavy rainstorm with lightning was reported in Wyandotte County about that time.
The 36-year-old woman in the Explorer was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper's crash log.
Another woman, a 21-year-old from Kansas City, Mo., riding in the Explorer, also was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
