A vacant home fire at 3019 N. 43rd St. resulted in $45,000 damage, a total loss, according to the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department.
The fire at 3:41 am. March 27 is under investigation, a Fire Department spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, when crews arrived within 2 minutes of the call, they found the one-story home fully involved. They fought the fire in a defensive mode.
The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes, and crews entered the structure to determine it was vacant, the spokesman said.
There were no injuries, the spokesman added.
