Despite snow that occasionally prevented travel, casino gaming revenues were up for the month of February at Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, according to Kansas Lottery Commission officials.
Revenues were $10.4 million for the month of February, as compared to $10.1 million in January, said Keith Kocher, director of gaming facilities.
The other two state casinos in Kansas, Boot Hill and Kansas Star, also showed increases. They were $3.24 million at Boot Hill in Dodge City, Kan., and $16.9 million at Kansas Star Casino at Mulvane, Kan.
The total of the three was about $30.7 million for the month, as compared to $29.7 million last month, he said.
