The number of Board of Public Utilities customers without power as of 10:50 a.m. Friday, March 1, is down to one, according to a BPU outage map online.
The map shows the location of the outage somewhere on the north side of Kansas CIty, Kan., near I-635.
More than 13,000 customers were without power on Tuesday morning, Feb. 26, when a snowstorm hit the area, knocking down tree limbs and power lines. The BPU had restored all but about 65 as of Thursday afternoon.
But, apparently the power outages are an on-again, off-again sort of thing, as at 11:28 a.m., six BPU customers were reported without power.
