A man in his mid-20s died in the early morning hours Sunday after a shooting in the 1000 block of Osage Avenue, according to Kansas City, Kan., police.
Police arrived at the scene after reports of a shooting about 1:15 a.m. Aug. 25, a spokesman said. They found a victim with life-threatening injuries.
The man was taken to a hospital, and later died from his injuries, the police spokesman said.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending positive identification and family notification, police said.
