The final two of the four candidates being considered for the Piper superintendent position will arrive for interviews and a meeting with the Piper community today.
Tim Conrad is currently the principal of Piper High School. He will be touring the Piper facilities this morning and will be available for a community meet and greet at 5 p.m. at the Piper High School Library.
Brad Reed is currently the director of student services in the Bentonville, Ark., School District. He will be touring the facilities this afternoon and will be available for the community meet and greet at 4 p.m. at the Piper High School Library.
The meet and greet will consist of the candidates providing information about their background and reasons for wanting to lead the Piper school district, along with questions asked by a facilitator and about 15 minutes of one-on-one conversations with members of the Piper community.
The candidates will meet with the Board of Education in a special session at Piper High School immediately following the community meet and greet. The Board of Education determined the interview schedule.
Steve Wiseman, the superintendent of USD 377 Atchison County Community Schools, and Chris Kleidosty, the superintendent of USD 362 Prairie View, interviewed on April 1.
