A Lenexa nurse who works at Hillshire Brands in Kansas City, Kan., has won $22,000 in the 2by2 lottery game.
Stacey Folsom said plans to use the winnings to pay off her student loans. She also works part-time at Leawood Pediatrics.
“I’m a loyal fan of the Kansas Lottery and 2by2 is my favorite game to play because you have multiple chances to win,” Folsom said.
After playing the game for years, Folsom did what all 2by2 players try to do – she matched both white numbers and both red numbers in the Monday, Sept. 4, drawing and won $22,000. The numbers she matched were ones she picked herself: Red 12 and 13 and White 19 and 25. The game is a multi-state game.
“I’m using the money to pay off all my student loans,” the winner said. Folsom, 30, is a registered nurse.
Folsom bought her ticket at Hy-Vee in Overland Park.
