At tonight's work session the Board of Public Utilities board members talked about the new phone system that would help improve customer service.
This new system will help give the BPU better customer service mainly because it is a state-of-the-art system which is needed especially when dealing with many customer service issues.
As of now the BPU is trying to improve its customer service, and is currently trying new methods. Nothing is definite yet, and no vote was taken tonight regarding the new phone system.
At the board meeting the resolution hearing on the Kansas public water system supply fund was approved by a unanimous vote of all members of the board.

The event will be held at Wyandotte County Lake Park, where there will be presentations and displays about bald eagles and other birds. This is a family event.
