Loretta M. Mahr, 61, died Jan.19, 2013, at home, surrounded by her family.
She was employed by the Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools before her illness.
She is survived by her daughters, Angi Scheele (Todd) and Rachel Spudic (Tony) and granddaughters, Leighton and Lily.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Mary Butler Meyers Funeral Home, 6300 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at The Gates of Heaven cemetery 127th and Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan.
