A light snow, the first of the season, fell overnight in Wyandotte County.
A thin layer of snow covered the roads, lawns and highways.
The National Weather Service said the snow showers would end around 4 a.m., and then there would be a chance for snow flurries, with a low around 16.
On Thursday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 24. Winds will be 9 to 14 mph and could gust as high as 18 mph Thursday.
