Three inmates escaped around 7:40 a.m. May 10 from the Lansing Correctional Facility, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Scott A. Gilbert, Randy Allen Ridens Sr. and Allen M. Hurst are wanted by the Kansas Department of Corrections for aggravated escape from custody. They walked away from minimum custody.
Gilbert, Ridens and Hurst should be considered armed and dangerous, according to KDOC's website.
Gilbert, 49, is 6-2, 231 pounds, and has brown hair, and brown eyes. In 2010 he was convicted of multiple counts of burglary and theft in Sedgwick County.
Ridens, 57, is 5-11, 230 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. In 2010 he was convicted of multiple counts of burglary and theft from Shawnee and Douglas County.
Hurst, 31, is 5-9, 220 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. In 2010 he was convicted of multiple counts of burglary and theft in Sedgwick County.
All of them have tattoos.
Gilbert has tattoos of skulls and flames, as well as clown, chain, ace of spades on the arms, plus a swastika tattooed on his abdomen and right chest, and several other tattoos.
Ridens has roses and skull, 7, dice, skull and helmet tattooed on the left lower arm, and cross, panther, cat and "white" tattooed on his left upper arm, plus many other tattoos.
Hurst has flames tattooed on his left lower arm, and heart, skulls and clown faces tattooed on the upper left arm, plus many other tattoos.
