A Kansas City Kansas Community Health Fair will be held Saturday, April 20, by Kansas Black Chamber of Commerce and NAACP.
The health fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 at Blessed Sacrament Family Center, 2215 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan.
Free health screenings will be held for high blood pressure, diabetes checks, glucose checks, nutritional information, height and weight, skin cancer information and more.
Guest health professional speakers will be LaMonica Upton with Affordable Health Care; and Rachel Jefferson, Wellness and Preventive Health.
Community providers at the health fair include Kansas City Kansas Community College School of Nursing, Heart to Heart International, University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Nursing, Kansas Health Department, Swope Health Services and University of Kansas Medical Center.
