Every Friday night with the exception of the first Friday night of the month, Flywheel Coffeehouse at 548 Central Ave. offers entertainment. Performing at a recent Friday night were Jake and Angela Carmack.
Jake plays the guitar and sings, and his wife Angela plays the cello. There've only been performing for three years, however, they have a large following. He is a true folk singer and balladeer. His songs are simple, something that the common man can relate to.
“I really enjoy singing to others,” Jake Carmack said. He was born and raised in Wyandotte County and still lives here.
The entertainment starts about 8 o'clock on Fridays. Scheduled for May 24 at Flywheel will be Thom Hoskins and Brent Windler.
