A car overturned on I-35 near 18th Street on Jan. 21 in Kansas City, Kan., according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
A 2012 Buick Lacrosse was northbound on I-35, about three-tenths of a mile south of 18th, when the vehicle swerved to the left and struck the center median wall. It overturned and slid across all four lanes, coming to rest in the drainage ditch off the right side of the roadway, the trooper's report stated. The accident happened at 12:40.
The driver, a 56-year-old Liberty, Mo., woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, the trooper's report stated.
