Donahoo RoadThe Kansas Department of Transportation has released this detour map for the Donahoo Road project.
All lanes of eastbound and westbound Donahoo Road from Hutton Road to North 99th Street in Wyandotte County will be closed around the clock for concrete storm line replacement work beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, and reopening by 5 a.m. Monday, July 29.
The dates of this work were changed today, previously scheduled for this weekend, and now scheduled for July 26, according to KDOT. The change was made because of the weather.
In addition, the northbound I-435 to Donahoo Road exit ramp will be closed during the same time, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
A marked detour route will be provided. Drivers should expect delays during the lane and ramp closures and must use alternate routes, KDOT stated.
Drivers may want to use the Leavenworth Road exit on I-435.
Updated daily traffic information for this project can be viewed online at: www.ksdot.org/kcmetro/laneclose.asp.
The Kansas Department of Transportation urged all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and slow down when approaching and driving through the project work zone.
