A 2002 Chevy Camaro was northbound on 57th Street when it fled a traffic stop, ran a red light at 57th and State, and struck a 2005 GMC Yukon.
The crash happened at 3:04 p.m. July 1, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log.
The Yukon had been making a right turn from State Avenue onto northbound Meadowlark Lane at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Camaro, a 21-year-old man from Kansas City, Mo., had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the report.
An 18-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman riding in the Camaro also had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital.
The driver of the Yukon, a 51-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was not injured.
