A frost advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures will fall into the low- to mid-30s during the early morning hours.
Prolonged cold temperatures could damage sensitive vegetation, the weather service said.
Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Looking ahead, Thursday’s high will be 62 degrees, according to the weather service. On Friday, there is a chance of showers, with a high of 60. Storms also are possible Friday night.
Saturday, temperatures will be about 67, with partly sunny weather. Sunday will be sunny and 73, the weather service said.
