A crash injured two people at 12th and Kansas Avenue after a law enforcement pursuit Friday night.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log, a 1997 Buick LeSabre was being pursued by a law enforcement officer eastbound on Kansas Avenue about 9:39 p.m. Nov. 1.
The driver of the LeSabre, Kane Matthew Thornburgh, 20, of Shawnee, Kan., lost control of the vehicle, spun around and rear-ended a 2002 Honda Civic, according to the report.
The Honda Civic then was pushed into a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that was parked.
The driver of the Honda Civic, a 20-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was injured and taken to a hospital. A 17-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman in the Honda also was injured and taken to the hospital.
The driver of the LeSabre was not injured, according to the report.
