  • A candidate forum is planned at 6 p.m. Monday, March 25, at St. Andrew's Baptist Church, 53rd and Parallel Parkway.  The forum is sponsored by the Baptist Ministers Union and the Wyandotte County Chapter of the NAACP.  All candidates are invited.
  • March 26, at 7 p.m., Stony Point Baptist Church, 7938 Barnett, limited seating, open to all candidates on ballot, sponsored by Stony Point – Hunter’s Glen Neighborhood Association.
  • The Wyandotte County GOP will sponsor its second candidates’ night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the Frontier steakhouse, 94th and State Avenue. Only the two mayor candidates on the ballot and 10 Unified Government commissioner candidates have been invited to speak, due to time constraints. If other candidates attend, they will be introduced and will be able to visit with people individually after the event.
