An injury-accident was reported at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, on I-70 westbound, just south of the Central Avenue exit in Kansas City, Kan.
A 39-year-old man from Mound, Minn., driving a 2013 Ford car, failed to yield to a 1997 Ford sport utility vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log.
The car struck the SUV’s rear driver’s side quarter panel, according to the report.
The driver of the SUV had a possible injury and was taken to the hospital, according to the report. The driver of the car was not injured.
