Slushy roads were noted in a trooper's report about a three-vehicle accident this morning at I-70 and I-635 in Kansas City, Kan.
Three vehicles were northbound on I-635 about 9:13 a.m. when a 1994 Ford Explorer lost control on the slushy roadway and struck a 2010 Toyota Cruiser, according to the trooper's report. The Toyota Cruiser then spun out and struck a 2006 Acura, the report stated.
The driver of the Toyota Cruiser, a 46-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was injured and taken to a hospital.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, a 31-year-old Overland Park man, was not injured.
The driver of the Acura, a 48-year-old Lenexa man, was not injured.
