An accident on I-670 eastbound at 4:17 p.m. Jan. 15 resulted in a possible injury, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper's report.
Two vehicles were eastbound on I-670 in the left lane.
A 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis had slowed because of service rendered on the left shoulder, the trooper's report stated. Then a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo struck the rear of the Grand Marquis, the report stated.
The driver of the Grand Marquis, a 56-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man, had a possible injury and was taken to a Kansas hospital, according to the report.
The driver of the Aveo, a 28-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man, was not injured, the report stated.
