An injury-accident was reported at 5:47 p.m. Dec. 19 on southbound I-35 south of Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Kan.
As traffic stopped on southbound I-35, a 1992 Buick Regal struck a 2002 Mazda in the rear. The Mazda was pushed into a 2013 Hyundai, according to a trooper's crash log.
The driver of the Regal, a 33-year-old man from LaHarpe, Kan., was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report.
The Mazda's driver, a 28-year-old Columbia, Mo., man, had a possible injury.
A 61-year-old passenger in the Mazda was not injured.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 44-year-old Gardner, Kan., man, was not injured.
