The Good-Guys ninth Mid-Western Nationals show opens Sept. 3 at the Kansas Speedway at I-70 and I-435 in Kansas City, Kansas.
   More than 2,000 vintage rods, customs, classics, street machines, muscle cars and trucks are on exhibit at the event. Also included are vendors and exhibitors, swap meet and cars for sale corral, track cruise, and Goodguys Builder's Choice Awards.
   Entertainment and a Street Challenge AutoCross also are planned at the event.
   The event continues Saturday and Sunday at the speedway.
