Robert J. Koelzer, 85, died Wednesday in Tonganoxie, Kan. Robert owned and operated the K & K Body Shop in Avondale, Mo., for 30 years.

   He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kan.

   He was preceded in death by his son, Neal Koelzer, in 2001.

   He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Koelzer; 10 children, Christine Watkins, Barbara Hill, Kenneth Koelzer, Susan Morrison, Donald Koelzer, Martin Koelzer, David Koelzer, Ann Marie Wilson, Karen Koelzer, Denis Caye, 21 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rita Dareau, Tippe Simpson and Marge Kopf.

   A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3024 N. 53rd, Kansas City, Kan. The family will receive friends 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Mary Butler Meyers Funeral Home, 6300 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., where the rosary will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 126th and Parallel, Kansas CIty, Kan.
