An injury was reported in an accident at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, on I-70 eastbound near I-635.
According to a Kansas Turnpike Authority report, a 2002 Honda car stopped in the left lane for an unknown reason, when it was struck by a 2003 semi truck.
The Honda then spun around and struck the rear of a 2007 semi truck.
A passenger in the Honda, a 54-year-old Mission, Texas, woman, was injured and taken to a hospital. Another passenger, a 29-year-old Mission, Texas, man, had possible injuries. The driver of the Honda, a 20-year-old Mission, Texas, man, also had possible injuries.
The two truck drivers, men from Linwood, Kan., and Billings, Mo., were not injured.
