The Cathedral of St. Peter Altar Society will hold a Women’s Lenten Day of Reflection, Saturday, March 9, in the Parish Center at the Cathedral, 416 N. 14th St, Kansas City, Kan. Sister Therese Steiner, a member of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, will present, “A Woman’s Journey of Faith through Scripture – St. Therese and the Little Way.” The day will begin at 8:15 a.m. with Mass, and will conclude at noon. Homemade baked items, wine, fruit baskets and religious items from the table will be available for purchase. The Spaghetti Dinner will be served from noon to 3 p.m. Freewill donations accepted.

St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th, is holding a fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. each Friday of Lent. The cost of the dinner is $8 to $10 per person; carryout is available.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., will hold activities this weekend to welcome the Hispanic community. The Rev. Alberto Cutie, the priest-in-charge of the Church of the Resurrection, Biscayne Park, Fla., will attend the community breakfast and the food pantry Saturday. He will be a special guest Saturday night at a dinner in the parish hall. Jose Cuellar, a musician from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Rose Marie Mendez's Fiesta Mexicana dancers, will perform. Cutie will preach the sermon at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24.
Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th, is planning its annual Easter Egg hunt for toddlers through fifth-graders at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the church park. Those attending should bring their own baskets. The event will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Free salsa lessons continue from 3 to 4 p.m. each Saturday in February at Wyandotte United Methodist Church, 7901 Oakland Ave. The church will hold a Women’s Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Members of Wyandotte United Methodist plan to visit Resurrection Life Family Worship Center at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3. After the worship service will be a potluck dinner.
