Event postponed because of weather: Christ the King School is planning its 10th annual auction with dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the National Guard Armory, 18th and Ridge. The CYO of Christ the King School will hold a fish fry beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in Davern Hall, Christ the King Church, 3024 N. 53rd St. The cost of the dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
The Youth at Judson Baptist Church, 8300 State Ave., will meet on Feb. 16 to go to Presbyterian Manor and help with a bingo activity.

John Hornbeck, the president of Episcopal Community Services, will be the guest preacher at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 N.18th St. The organization, through its anti-hunger network, fed more than 1.4 million meals to the poor during 2012.
