The Ladies Council of the Maywood Community Church, 11201 Parallel Parkway, will have its annual Fall Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12. There will be a Country Store with home-made jellies, jams and baked goods, antiques, wood-crafts, furniture, jewelry, tools and miscellaneous items. Lunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited. All proceeds go to missions.

The Horizon Ladies Group at Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th, is collecting blankets, gloves, shampoo, flashlights, deodorant, personal sanitary wipes and socks for homeless men and women. Stony Point plans a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 27.
