Included are an authentic Slovenian dinner, big silent auction, children and adult games, cultural booth and souvenirs. The garage sale is sponsored by the Trustees and the bake sale is sponsored by the United Methodist Women. The Women's Bible Study will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. The title of the six-week lesson is "A Mile in Her Shoes." An all-church breakfast is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. A community picnic is planned at noon Sunday, Sept. 29. The potluck picnic will include volleyball, softball and outdoor games.
Crafts, baked goods, and food will be available and there will be a rummage sale at the Fall Craft Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5 at Zion United Church of Christ, 2711 N. 72nd. The event is open to the public.
