All Saints Catholic Church, 229 S. 8th St., will hold its Josefesta from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 15. The festival includes a horse show, dancing, music, entertainment and food.

Grandview Christian Church, 8550 Parallel Parkway, is planning a Father’s Day breakfast at 9 a.m. June 16 at Kussmann Hall. The church is collecting canned goods for Help 3:17, a local food pantry. .
Holy Family Altar Society’s Annual Golf Tournament will be Monday, June 24, at Sunflower Hills Golf Course, 12200 Riverview Road, Bonner Springs, Kan. The event begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The entry fee per person is $65, which includes a green fee; $50 hole sponsor. Food will be served after the tournament. All proceeds will benefit the Holy Family Church fuel fund. Open Door Baptist Church, 3033 N. 103rd Terrace, is planning the Kingdom Rock Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 9 to 13. The church also is planning to show the film “Up” in an outdoor movie setting, in an open area next to the church, at Friday, June 14. The movie will start when it gets dark, approximately 9 p.m., and gates will open at 7 p.m. The donation is $10 per family. Those attending may bring lawn chairs or blankets. The youth at the church will have a garage sale to raise funds for their mission trip from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 7-8.
Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan., will offer “Scripture Study, Bible Sharing and Reflection, Lectio and Journaling,” facilitated by pastoral minister, Heather Neds, at Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan. from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays through July 17. The 14th annual Run the Good Race, a benefit for Sanctuary of Hope in Kansas City, Kan., will be held on June 15. The 19th annual golf classic to benefit the Sisters, Servants of Mary, is set for Friday, June 28, at Dub’s Dread Golf Course, 126th and Hollingsworth Road, Kansas City, Kan. White Church Christian Church, 1 block north of Parallel Parkway at 2200 N. 85th St., was proud to have a number of members participate and raise money for the Relay for Life held on Friday, June 7. White Church will also have its annual garage sale on June 14 through 15. The church elders are inviting everyone to a potluck featuring steak and shrimp along with some good home cooking at 4 p.m. June 22. Live entertainment will be provided by The Witness Band. Wednesday's Bible Study group and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
Several programs are being offered at Wyandotte United Methodist Church, 7901 Oakland Ave. Christian Movie Night will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 14. The movie will be “Bonhoeffer: Agent of Grace,” the story of a Lutheran clergyman Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who opposed Hitler and the Nazis. A free will offering will be accepted. Youth and adults may attend. Wyandotte will hold Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. June 17 to 21. Free salsa lessons are held from 3 to 4 p.m. each Saturday in June at Wyandotte United Methodist Church, and new participants are welcome.
