The SociaLights at Christ the King Catholic Church will hold a traditional St. Patrick’s dinner of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, (after the 5:30 p.m Mass) at Davern Hall at the church, 3024 N. 53rd St. Donations are $8 for adults and $4 for children. Beverages and cupcakes are included.

Grinter Chapel United Methodist Church, 7819 Swartz Road, Kansas City, Kan., will have a ham and bean - vegetable soup dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23. The menu includes ham and beans, vegetable soup, dessert and drink. Donation of $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger is requested.

Grandview Christian Church, 8550 Parallel Parkway, is collecting canned goods for Help 3:17, a local food pantry.

Judson Baptist Church, 8300 State Ave., is planning the church’s 52nd birthday party following the 11 a.m. service March 17. The event includes a cake-baking contest, potluck dinner, and entertainment by Prairie Praise.

Parkway Baptist Church, 12320 Parallel Parkway, will hold a donation benefit concert at 7 p.m. March 15, featuring the bluegrass group, the Flat Mountain Boys. All donations will go to support homeless teens in Kansas City, Kan., trying to complete high school through the Homeless Liaison for the Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools. Parkway Baptist Church is located 2 miles west of the Legends on Parallel Parkway.

St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th, is holding a fish dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. each Friday of Lent in the Parish Center. The cost of the dinner is $8 to $10 per person; carryout is available. A family price is available. Baked cod, fried catfish, boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, and mac and cheese are available. Side dishes, dessert and drink are included.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., will hold the Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m. Friday, March 15. A soup supper will follow in the parish hall.

Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th, is planning its annual Easter Egg hunt for toddlers through fifth-graders at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the church park. Those attending should bring their own baskets. The event will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

White Church Christian Church, 2200 N. 85th, (one block north of Parallel Parkway), will have a board meeting on March 17. Holy Week (March 27 through 31) will be observed starting with Maundy Thursday services at 6:30 p.m., Good Friday services at 6:30 p.m., a 24-hour prayer vigil starting on Friday at 6:30 p.m., ending at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be an Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 30, for children. Sunday's sunrise service is at 8 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be served afterwards.

Wyandotte United Methodist Church, 7901 Oakland Ave., will hold a Women’s Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Free salsa lessons are offered from 3 to 4 p.m. each Saturday in March at Wyandotte UMC. The United Methodist Women at Wyandotte UMC are sponsoring a chili and soup supper with homemade desserts from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16. A freewill offering will be received. Proceeds will benefit the missions.
