Jeff Foster's exhibit "In Relative Obscurity" is a series about abandonment. The buildings, schools, houses, cemeteries pictured all tell a tale not just about the literal abandonment of place but the spiritual displacement of the people who used to dwell there and what they left behind. His photographs will be on display at the Main library June 14-Aug. 7; Mon-Thur, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
