    Kansas Day will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Grinter Place historic site, 1420 S. 78th St., Kansas City, Kan. The play, “Citizens of Our Cemetery,” by Fairway, Kan., resident Don Carlton will be presented. The play is about the accomplishments of family members and residents of the Shawnee Indian Mission. Corn cupcakes and Kansas birthday cupcakes will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
