Holland reports $282,740 in contributions; includes donations from state representatives, UG commissioner
Tom Holland had $103,378 in cash on hand July 22 to spend on his campaign, according to campaign finance reports filed with the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission.
Holland, a Democratic candidate for governor, raised $282,740 from Jan. 1 through July 22, according to the report.
He reported spending $179,361 from January through July 22.
Most of Holland’s donations were from other areas of the state. Donations that came from Kansas City, Kansas, or that had ties to the area, included:
Judith Ancel, Kansas City, Kansas, a $50 contribution to the Holland campaign.
Helen Bontrager, Kansas City, Kansas, a $50 contribution to the Holland campaign.
Reginald Davis, a Kansas City, Kansas attorney, a $200 contribution to the Holland campaign.
Steven Herndon, Kansas City, Kansas, contributions of $50 and $50 to the Holland campaign.
Dennis Horner, Kansas City, Kansas, attorney, a $250 contribution to the Holland campaign.
Kansas State UAW PAC, Kansas City, Kansas, a $1,000 contribution to the Holland campaign.
Gordon Kile, Kansas City, Kansas, a $100 contribution to the Holland campaign.
Kelly Kultala, Holland’s lieutenant governor running mate from Kansas City, Kansas, made contributions of $250 and $750 to the Holland campaign.
